My Hortons start with Emeline (1816-1867, #125 in my AT). Her line back to the immigrant Thomas Horton of Rehoboth (#8000 in my AT) is: Lewis(6), Lewis(5), Lewis(4), Thomas(3), John(2), Thomas(1).
The information I have about the earlier generations of these Hortons all comes from Margaret R. Jenks's book Thomas Horton of Milton and Rehoboth, which is available online at the Family History Archive. The children of Nathaniel and Sarah (Pray) Horton, Randy Seaver's ancestors, are treated on p. 33.
The author often posts on the Horton email lists and message boards. In several messages she is very cautious about identifying the immigrant Thomas Horton's wife as Sarah Harmon. In one message, she writes:
... Thomas of Milton, married a Sarah. I did not make it plain enough that it was only possible she was Sarah Harmon. The children were bp. in Braintree, so I figured Sarah (-) Horton was from Braintree. There were 3 Sarah's the right age, but we found husbands for the other 2. I have searched may Harmon records with no success. The probable Nathaniel Harman was said to have returned to England. So: Sarah should have a big ? before Harmon.
